Since February of 2023, The Avenue has been a church that shows up in a trailer — set up before sunrise, packed away by lunch. God has used every one of those Sundays.

But everything we do currently fits into about seven hours a week, and we believe God is calling us to more: a permanent home on the seven acres He’s already provided on South 13 Highway.

We’re calling it Pave the Way, from the story in Joshua 3–4 — when God’s people crossed the Jordan, they carried stones out of the riverbed and set them up on the other side, so that when their children asked, “What do these stones mean?”, there would be a story to tell. That’s what this is: from seven hours a week to seven days, on seven acres — a place with doors that stay open for whoever Warrensburg sends.

Between now and November 22, we’re asking every Avenue household to pray one question: God, what is our part? Not equal gifts — equal sacrifice, over and above regular giving. On Commitment Weekend, we each bring our answer. God made the way. Let’s pave it!
